Mister Pet is rooted in the tradition and experience of the Gambarelli family, who pass down their knowledge of raw materials and animal nutrition from generation to generation.

We pay particular attention to the selection of ingredients, carefully selected fresh meats, certified and traceable throughout the supply chain, ensuring at any time the identification and history of each production batch and its components.

Top-quality raw materials

Mister Pet’s Kitchen offers a wide range of fresh meat and fish chosen and selected based on their biological value and nutritional aspects. Along with a selection of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and strictly GMO-FREE medicinal plants.

Fresh Meat and Fish
at 600 meters

In our products, we use up to 80% fresh meat and fish, but also dehydrated and hydrolyzed to reduce allergenic risk and improve digestibility. Our supplier for these raw materials is RACOF, a group company that processes fresh, dehydrated, and hydrolyzed meats located in the same industrial complex, literally 600 m away, to have a single production cycle, from raw material to finished product.

Steam cooking

Mister Pet’s recipes stand out for the high use of fresh meat and an approach to low-temperature and steam cooking, which preserves integrity and makes proteins and all nutrients more available for absorption.

Mister Pet has always been dedicated to finding food for its beloved dogs and cats that could meet their nutritional needs while fully respecting their nature and ethical values.

Respect for natural feeding

Mister Pet foods are 100% Natural: only steam-cooked meat, enriched with medicinal herbs, fruits, vegetables, and prebiotics to ensure the right supply of vitamins, fibers, antioxidants, capable of strengthening and maintaining a proper balance of intestinal flora, as required by the nature of our four-legged friends.

All ingredients are selected based on their origin and source.
Only raw materials that come from farms and fisheries that comply with ethical standards for animal treatment, many of which come directly from the surrounding area, the Food Valley.

Scientific approach

In our laboratory, we conduct thorough studies on the nutrition of dogs and cats, with the support of veterinary experts, nutritionists, and universities, to implement the research of new foods that best meet the nutritional needs of our animals.

Pet friendly

We do not conduct any type of scientific experimentation on animals and we are fully concerned about their well-being, every test is carried out by selected breeders, without any kind of constraint for the animals, and we also select our supplier partners according to these criteria.

Quality award, awarded by consumers

As proof and testimony of a long journey of innovation and food quality, Mister Pet has achieved the highest quality recognition, receiving for two of its flagship products, Primordial Grain Free and Vivere Low Grain, the QUALITY AWARD since 2021 and for every subsequent year, achieved with an exceptional score on laboratory tests, and especially with the approval of 100% of a large sample of Italian consumers selected by Consumer Test.

In addition to consumer approval, with a truly exceptional percentage, we also received the approval of Italian veterinarians.

Thanks to these prestigious awards, since 2021 the Vivere and Primordial lines can display the quality certification ribbon of the Quality Award on the packaging, with the wording “Awarded by Consumers and Approved by Veterinarians”.

Production and quality controls

Technology at the service of tradition

We have built a new production plant of 12,000 sqm, inaugurated in 2024 and one of the most advanced in Europe.
Designed horizontally to facilitate and speed up every phase of the production flow, simplify controls and checks on the product in line, and improve the quality of work for our operators.

A kitchen equipped with 4 extrusion lines with Thermal Twin technology, for slow steam cooking, allowing us to include up to 100% fresh ingredients in our recipes and capable of producing up to 120,000 tons/year of dry pet food.

8 packaging lines with updated machinery to also work with recyclable or recycled plastic packaging.

Automated warehouse with 7000 pallet spaces allows us to automatically record and fulfill orders, thus reducing the risk of human error, decreasing loading/unloading times, and optimizing the entire logistics phase.

Controls with maximum simplicity

We have designed and built our production plant to make every type of control and verification simple and fast, computerized production lines capable of recording and monitoring every parameter to have complete control over every detail of production, finally, automated warehouse and shipping to simplify and optimize logistics.

Traceability of the entire supply chain

We have efficient systems of traceability for raw materials and traceability for the finished product to always ensure a history of the entire production chain at every stage.

Study of the best recipes

We study every recipe in collaboration with veterinarians, nutritionists, and universities; our team of researchers is constantly committed to best meeting the nutritional needs of our pets, always respecting their natural diet.

Selected raw materials

We select the best ingredients within our facility based on their origin and processing method, applying the same criteria to the fresh meats we source from certified slaughterhouses in the Food Valley.

Transparency of information

We also rely on the expertise of industry associations, such as ASSALCO (National Association of Companies for the Nutrition and Care of Companion Animals), which promotes and coordinates technical-scientific initiatives for the development of the sector. As members, we apply the Code of Good Labeling Practices, which aims to give consumers the assurance of always receiving correct information in compliance with the law and animal welfare.

Preservation of product quality

We subject the packaging to continuous tests to ensure its integrity, in order to preserve both the nutrients and the aroma of the food. Even during the transport phase, we adhere to the required quality standards to ensure the freshness of the products until their use.
